Dogs on beach

• Dogs are not permitted on the beaches of Wenduine in the guarded zones, in the dunes, and in the sea during the period 1 June to 15 September between 10:00 and 19:00. However, you may pass with your dog on a short lead in the bathing zone Vosseslag and Harendijke (there is only one access) to sit outside the bathing area with your dog.
• Outside of this period and in the unguarded zones on the beach, dogs are always welcome. They do not have to be on a lead here. Dog owners must, however, be in possession of a dog waste bag which can be disposed of in the street waste bins or in the dog waste bins.

Further, we also recommend reading the information board, with the local beach rules, which is often placed near every beach (entrance).

Leashed dogs are allowed all year from beach Harendijke in the direction Blankenberge.

Horses on beach

Horses are not allowed on the beach at high tide. Horses are not allowed on the beach or to access paths to the beach from 10:00 until 19:30 hours. Horses are prohibited from accessing the band of dunes between the Koninklijke Baan and the beach, except for the riding paths provided.

Horses are not allowed to access the Vosseslag beach via the entrance at the Koninklijke Baan during the Belgian Easter holidays and from 1 June until 15 September.
