Wenduine, the charming “Princess of Seaside Resorts”, is located along one of the longest and widest sandy beaches on the Flemish coast.
- Exceptional dimensions: Between Wenduine and De Haan stretches an impressive 12-kilometre-long and 55 to 80-metre-wide coastline – with plenty of space even during peak season.
- Peace & relaxation: Thanks to its vastness, the beach remains relatively quiet and is perfect for sunbathing, strolling, or relaxing with children in peace.
- Direct access to the sand: The compact and cosy promenade hardly interrupts the beach, allowing you to walk directly from dune to sand almost everywhere.
- Good facilities: Including beach cabins, showers, sunbed and windscreen rentals, and during the season, lifeguards for safety.
- Child-friendly: A large playground with sea views is located right on the beach – ideal for families with young children.
- Panoramic views: Climb the iconic white lookout tower Spioenkop on the dune for a wide view over the sea, beach, and hinterland.
- Walking & cycling: Several routes start from Wenduine through the surrounding dunes and the Uitkerkse Polder. The Coastal Tram also stops nearby – perfect for trips to other seaside towns.
