Around Halloween, Wenduine gets spooky. On Saturday 31 October 2026, the Rotonde on the Zeedijk is the heart of the celebrations, with a torch march through the village, a fire show and a Scary Party. A Halloween funfair also runs on the Markt.

What can you expect at Halloween in Wenduine?

  • Halloween by the sea: From Saturday afternoon 31 October 2026, food, drinks and a Halloween atmosphere at the Rotonde.
  • Face painting: From 2.30 to 5.30 pm, children can have their faces painted.
  • Torch march: Pick up a torch or foam stick beforehand for the annual torch march. Gather at the town hall on the Markt, from where the procession winds through the village to the Rotonde.
  • Fire show and Scary Party: At the Rotonde, a fire show and a Scary Party with a DJ round off the evening.
  • Fair in WenduineHalloween funfair: From Friday 30 October to Sunday 8 November 2026 on the Markt.

Practical information

Wenduine griezelt is free. More information is available from Toerisme De Haan. In De Haan, the Kippenvel Halloweentocht takes place the same day.
